Making Butter in Nepali Village
In Nepali village butter is called “Nauni ghee”
To make butter in the traditional way, Pour lukewarm water into curd inside “theki”(a local name given to a traditional wooden utensil)
Then churn out the curd in water
Slowly the butter appears
Then collect the soft ghee( butter) from the utensil
Now the curd is turned into “Mohi” ( Thin milky water)
Now, drink the “Mohi” and boil the butter.
