River Rafting Festival

Kathmandu: Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA) is going to organize, “31st River Rafting Festival” on June 7, 2019.

In order to mark the annual occasion, NARA will organize river rafting in Trishuli from Baireni to Malekhu.

NARA’s General Secretary -Shiva Adhikari said that the rafting festival was being organized like previous years to make the government’s campaign “The visit Year 2020” successful and the other motive is to attract domestic as well as external tourists to rafting industry so as to promote and foster tourism.

He also disclosed that river rafting could be done in at least 16 other rivers of Nepal.

NARA’s treasurer, Shisir Khanal added that at least 300 to 400 internal and external tourists will participate in this festival and Rs eight hundred thousand will be spent till the culmination of this festival.
