Kathmandu: An aircraft belonging to Yeti Airlines veered off the main runway at the Tribhuvan International Airport Friday while landing with 66 passengers on board.
The yeti aircraft skidded off to the taxiway, which is 20 meters far from the runway. The aircraft NYT-422 (9N-AMM) was coming from Nepalgunj airport this morning at 11:05 a.m.
Khima Magar 31, and Binadevi Bhandari 56 are injured and are undergoing medical treatment at Kathmandu Medical College, Sinamangal, according to airport in-charge Rajkumar Chetri.
Owing to this, dozens of international flights are affected and diverted to other destinations.
