Buddha Air carried on board 1,44,826 passengers in one year

Kathmandu: Nepal’s leading air Service Company Buddha Airlines carried on board 14,4,826 passengers in one year from July 2018 to June 2019, which includes domestic as well as international flights.
Buddha air surpassed its last year’s record by carrying 1,71,813 more passengers this year. Last year Buddha had carried 12,76,615 passengers, whereas the number increased to 14,48,426 this year.
Of the total passenger carried on board this year, 2,000 passengers were carried on board during international flights, while the rest of the passengers were carried during the domestic flights undertaken from July 2018 to June 2019.
The only rival air companies for Buddha air are Yeti Air and Sri Air. The Buddha air that commenced its air services since 997 has had 22 years flight experience.
Currently, Buddha Air has 7 ATR with 72 seats, 3 ATR with 42 seats and 2 Beechcraft with 18 seats. All 12 aircrafts are operating both domestic and international flights.
Buddha has been taking international flights to two Indian towns- Kolkatta and Varanasi – and is preparing to make flights to Guwahati.
Similarly, Buddha air’s domestic flights are bound for Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Simra, Janakpur, Bhairawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, Chumlingtar, Bharatpur, Pokhara including taking flights for mountain related internal destinations.
