Nepal’s Y-12 Aircraft on trial take off to target the visit year 2020 and Dashain
Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines started trial takes off of half a dozen of its aircraft to target the festival of Dashain and visit the year 2020.
According to the assistant spokesperson of Nepal Airlines Corporation Sulekha Mishra, the Y-12 Aircraft are taking flights under trial after seeking permission from the Civil Aviation Department as these planes were grounded for the last six months.
Mr. Mishra also said that 6 planes are undergoing trial takes off to target domestic passengers during the upcoming national festival of Dashain which includes Chaurjahari, Taplejung, Tumlingtar, Rukum, Bhojapur and Bajura airports.
The air corporation verified trial takes off for Chaurjahari and Taplejung on Saturday, while the trial takes off for Rukum and Bhojpur will be done on Sunday.
The trial takes off planes in the rest of the domestic airports that will be operated on Monday. Along with domestic flights, international flights will also be managed which is likely to support the visit year 2020, added Mishra.
At the moment two of Y-12 planes are grounded while only 2 Y-12 planes are under operation for domestic flights.
