• Exploring Maya Devi Temple

Maya Devi temple is centuries old mark stone of Gautam Buddha’s birthplace inside. You cannot take pictures here. To the south of this temple lies a pond where Gautam Budha’s mother had taken bath after giving birth to Gautam Buddha.

• Meditating under the Bodhi tree

Just near the pond is situated a Bodhi tree. Prayer flags are offered here and prayers are done. If you have enough time, you may meditate here as long as you like.
