Nepal is popular for some of the best trekking areas in the world. This is due to the highest mountain peak Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha) standing in Nepal followed by a few other popular higher peaks of the world that are found in Nepal. Since Nepal is home to more than 300 mountains, there is a lot of opportunities for tourists to explore, trek, hike or climb mountains here.
