Restricted areas to be opened
Kathmandu: Tourism Minister Yogesh Bhattarai said that preparations are being made to open some restricted mountains in Nepal for Nepal visit year 2020.
Speaking at the 41st annual general meeting of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) on Friday, Minister Bhattarai said that the restricted areas of various Himalayan districts are also set to be opened for tourists.
“We will open the restricted mountains if we can, or we will make the restrictions less strict,” he said. He also added that it would not be difficult to bring 2 million tourists if all the people unite together.
