Plane fare to be reduced by 10% during Dashain and Chhath
Kathmandu: Passengers heading to different hometowns by planes are to get air tickets at a reduced rate of 10% on the occasion of Dashain and Chhath.
According to the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN), the festival offer of a reduction in the air tickets will remain effective between September 29, 2019, and November 3, 2019, only.
AOAN also says, 10% reduced ticket rates will be available to the passengers if the tickets are bought at the counter of the airlines’ companies as it may not be given by the travel agencies.
To target the Dashain festival, the private airlines’ companies have added additional aircrafts this year. Sri Airlines has added two air crafts, Buddha and Yeti airlines added one aircraft each this year. All four planes have a capacity of 70 passengers.
