Former and new TAAN leadership exchange responsibility

Kathmandu: The handing and taking over of responsibilities between the newly elected team and outgoing team of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) has taken place on Thursday at a program held in Kathmandu.

According to our reporter Samudra Ghimire former chairman of TAAN Nab Raj Dahal handed over his official responsibilities of the chairmanship to newly elected Chairperson Khum Bahadur Subedi by handing over the office key to him.

The TAAN executive team led by Khum Bahadur Subedi and its members were elected to the office for a term of 2 years from the 41ist general convention held recently and the responsibilities were exchanged after a lapse of 13 days.

The chief election officer Ramesh Kumar Mainali delivered the oath of secrecy to the newly elected 17 members of the TAAN committee in the program. Some trekking agency entrepreneurs were also awarded for their exemplary performances.

Present on the occasion were various tourism entrepreneurs including Director-General Dandu Raj Ghimire of tourism department from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
