Tribhuvan airport to be closed for two and a half hours
Kathmandu: The Tribhuvan International Airport will remain closed for two and a half hours on Sunday to ensure the safe return of Chinese President Xi Jinping who is in Nepal for two days official visit.
According to Civil Aviation authorities at the airport, all domestic and international flights will remain suspended for two and a half hours from 11: 20 a.m. to 1: 50 p.m. as Chinese president Xi is slated to return home by 12: 30 p.m.
Helicopter patrol
Nepal army helicopters have continued helicopter patrolling throughout the Saturday night to ensure the safety of the Chinese president Xi after his arrival in Kathmandu.
The security of the Xi are arranged in four order by Nepali army, armed Nepal police, police and Chinese liberation army in the capital which includes at least 15000 alert security personnel round the clock.
