Located at the outskirt of Kathmandu valley, Chovar hill station lies on the way to Dashinkali and is very popular among travelers. Shivapuri is another enthralling hill station near Kathmandu valley. You need to make an uphill climb from the Budhanilkantha area to reach the exact location of Shivapuri hills. Various flowers like orchid and pitula are seen blooming here. Various species of birds, animals such as deer also can be observed in the forest. On the top of the hill, you will come across a Buddhist monastery from where you can have a majestic and fantastic view of the whole Kathmandu town.

Daman is another spectacular hill station famous for mountain views of the highest peaks like Mt Everest and Dhaulagiri.



Godavari hill station is a paradise on earth. This station is 14 km to the south of Kathmandu valley and lies below Phulchowki where Royal Botanical gardens and department of medicinal plants are located. The hill station offers an exotic blend of ancient Newari culture and heart touching views of mountains.

Phulchowki hill station means “hill of flowers” and is elevated 2,762 meters. During spring the hill station looks dazzling with flowers of rhododendron and orchids. The people throng to this station to enjoy the raw beauty of nature. It is also popular for a fabulous view of the mountains. It is also used as a picnic spot.
