Comfortable Tharpu Chuli climbing

Tharpu Chuli elevated at 5663 meters is one of the most comfortable mountains to climb which can offer you one of the bewitching moments. The peak is situated in the Annapurna sanctuary.

The place can allow you to see very stunning views of Himalayan mountain peaks while hiking through the climbing trails. After your attempt at this peak, you will be mesmerized by the sights of surrounding peaks that readily grin at you.

Moving towards the advance camp includes crossing the South Annapurna glaciers which are not so easy and comfortable. The ascent of Tharpu Chuli means crossing the steep descent into the glacier through the rugged ground.

It usually takes seven hours to reach the advance camp elevated at 4500m at the end of which the hard trekking is awarded pleasing sight of snowy Annapurna massif followed by beautiful panoramic views of Huinchuli (6331m), Annapurna South (7219m), Fang (7647m), Gangapurna (7455m), Annapurna III (7555m) and  Machahpuchre (6993m).

Climbing Tharpu Chuli peak is the comfortably low altitude and not a difficult and challenging one as there is not much risk of ascending this peak.

The trip begins from Kathmandu. However, the average 2-3 week expedition starts from Naya Pul located in Pokhara. You are suggested to check in the travel itineraries of the private trekking agencies operating expeditions in Nepal.

Best Season

The best season for this climb is from September through December and March to May.
