Hotels to provide special discount of 30% on rooms & 15% next year

Kathmandu: Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) has directed all its member resorts and hotels to provide special discounts of 30% on rooms and 16% discount on food for the tourists arriving in Nepal during visit year 2020.

HAN took this decision last week to effectively promote the Nepal Visit Year 2020 as a national campaign.

“Our hotels will provide discounts from January to December next year when the country will observe the visit year 2020,” said Binayak Shah of HAN.

HAN has more than 1,600 hotels and guest houses including resorts under its umbrella of which most are star hotels.

It may be recalled that the Nepal government has aimed at bringing at least 2 million tourists in Nepal during the visit year 2020.

HAN was established in 1966 and has its chapters in Pokhara, Sauraha, Biratnagar, Dhankhuta, Dhulikhel, and Bhaktapur.
