Bareng Rural Municipality declared new tourist destination

Kathmandu: Bareng Rural Municipality of Baglung district endowed with two cultural and four natural specific beautiful areas has been declared new tourist destinations in Gandaki region according to RSS Sunday.

The cultural places are Satyawati Temple and Kalilek Siddhasthan while, the places of natural beauty are Dhuri, Bhaise Jharana, Bhitriban Deurali, and Bhatepokhara that were declared as new tourist destinations.

“Tourism is the first pillar of economic development. So, physical infrastructures would be built and subsequent publicity made to reap the tourism benefits, “said Chief administrative officer Ramesh Thapa at the rural municipality.

The tourist destinations were identified and declared in line with the policy framed by Gandaki State Ministry for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, according to Rural Municipality chairperson Krishna Prasad Sharma.

Chairperson Sharma further said the announcement of tourist destination would help make Visit Year 2020 successful.
