Bangladeshi President Hamid enjoys the boat ride in Fewatal

Kathmandu: (RSS). President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Abdul Hamid along with his spouse enjoyed a boat ride in Fewa Lake in course of his Pokhara visit on Thursday.
Security has been tightened at the Fewa Lake area due to Hamid’s visit to this area. Similarly, a luncheon has been hosted at the Fishtail Hotel in honor of the Bangladeshi President.
Chief of Gandaki state, Amik Sherchan, Acting Chief Minister Kiran Gurung, Speaker of Gandaki State Assembly, Netranath Adhikari, opposition leader at Gandaki state assembly, Krishna Chandra Nepali, lawmaker Khagaraj Adhikari, among others would attend the luncheon. After the luncheon, President Hamid is scheduled to go on a sight-seeing tour in Rupakot.
President Hamid, who arrived here on a four-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari, reached Pokhara, the previous day for a sight-seeing excursion.
President Hamid is accompanied by his spouse. The Bangladeshi President arrived in Pokhara airport on a Nepal Army helicopter from Kathmandu.
Chief of Gandaki state, Amik Sherchan, Acting Chief Minister of the state, Kiran Gurung, Ministers, leader of opposition parties at the state assembly, Krishna Chandra Nepali, lawmaker Khagaraj Adhikari and Mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Man Bahadur GC, had welcomed the Bangladeshi guests.
Panchakanyas (five girls) offered Bangladeshi President Hamid bouquets, as well as a tune of Panchebaja (traditional Nepali musical ensemble), was played on the occasion.
