Domestic tourists visiting Gaighat waterfall

Kathmandu: (RSS). As many as 7,000 domestic tourists have reached Gaighat waterfall during the festive season of Dashain and Tihar this time.
Last year around 20,000 tourists had observed the waterfall. There is an increasing trend of tourists visiting the waterfall located at Tarakhola rural municipality-1 from the very beginning of the year.
According to the management, over 15,000 tourists have reached the waterfall since mid-July. The waterfall has become the choice of the tourists owing to the infrastructural development and wider publicity of the tourism destination.
The rural municipality has been supervising and managing the waterfall. Ticket system has been put in place since last fiscal year. The rural municipality has fixed Rs 30 per person as an entrance fee.
