Suaraha: Nepal’s most popular tourist spot for Jungle Safari

During your jungle safari you will see Bengal tiger, leopards, crocodiles, birds, monkeys, deer, various species of butterflies and Bish hajar taal, (20,000 lakes)The Sauraha is around 160 km far away from Kathmandu by road.

A river separates Sauraha from National Chitwan Park. Besides observing flora and fauna here, you will have a good opportunity to swim in the river, watch elephants and rhinos including going on a canoe trip in the river.

The only thing that you may not like is the mosquitoes here for which you may be given mosquito nets. But life here is very serene.

When to visit?
