188 climbers summit Mt. Manaslu
Kathmandu: At least 188 climbers have successfully summitted Mt. Manaslu (8163m) last month according to online media reports.
The government had earlier permitted 264 mountaineers to climb Mt. Manaslu of which a total of 188 climbers including 142 males and 46 female climbers had succeeded in scaling the Manaslu.
The successful ascent of these mountaineers on Manaslu was guided by 165 high skilled and professional Nepali guides.
The total number of climbers succeeding in vanquishing Mt. Manaslu this season including Sherpa guides is estimated to be 353.
The peak permissions were granted to climbers of 40 countries of which all climbers of 40 countries successfully climbed the Mt. Manaslu peak.
The Chinese climbers are outnumbered in attempting to summit Mt. Manaslu, the report added.
