Romancing with Chulu West Peak Climb

Romancing with Chulu West peak is every climbers’ dream. This peak is elevated at 6,419m from sea level. You will be sufficiently delighted to observe the pleasing and striking sights of Mt. Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho and Annapurna ranges.

This peak is located in the naturally captivating lap of northern Annapurna, closer to the most popular Annapurna trekking trail. The expedition to this peak offers a challenge for the climbers, although technically it is not so difficult to climb, you might at any time be confronted with snowfall and cause your ascent more difficult.

Physical fitness and good capacity to bear up with the altitude sickness and able to walk for at least 8 or 9 hours are demanded of a climber. However, you need not panic on this matter as you will be provided with expert and good guides to properly guide you throughout your trip to the top of the peak.

Your approach to Chulu west peak diverges from the main trail to the Thorong La Pass that passes through the Manang village.  The base camp is located in a small valley to the north. Northwest ridge is followed to go up to the top of the peak. 

How to go about it?

Arrival in Kathmandu. Drive to Besisahar and trek to Chulu peak. Trek to Manang. Climb Chulu west base camp. Climbing Chulu high camp. Trek to Jomson. Fly to Pokhara after Chulu west climb. Drive to Kathmandu. Departure to the home country.

Best time to climb the peak 

Spring and autumn are the two seasons most suitable for a climb.
