Kathmandu: Popular Oscar-winning American actor and producer Adrien Brody, who had come to Nepal a week ago was seen taking a selfie at the Everest Base Camp. The American celebrity Brody arrived in Nepal to embark upon an adventurous trekking trip in the Himalayas.
Last Saturday, Brody shared his Instagram account and took a selfie in front of the Chopper of Manang Air and put his status saying, “The adventure begins in the Himalayas.”
On November 22, he also updated his instagram status saying as, “Today I am thankful for being back in beautiful Nepal, for sharing the light that the remarkable children here offer with their pure and gentle spirit, for the bravery and generosity of the @kungfununs, who prove that they are tough enough to stand up for justice and are never too tired to save the animals and their neighbors in need. Thankful for having friends like these good people, who remind me of the simplest joys of all: Kindness. Namaste.”
This is Brody’s second-time visit to Nepal after his last visit to Nepal in 2015 as a brand ambassador of Bvlgari. He attended Save the Children program in Kavre and Sindhulchowk and interacted with locals.
Adrien Brody, born in 1973 is an American actor and producer who has received widespread recognition and acclaim after starring in Roman Polanski’s “Pianist” in 2002, for which he won the Oscar Award for Best Actor at the age of 29 making him the youngest actor to win in that category. He is also the only male American actor to receive the Cesar Award for Best Actor.
His other successful films include The Thin Redline (1998), The Village (2004), King Kong (2005), Predators ( 2010), The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009), The Grand Budapest Hotel (20140, and the French Dispatch (2020).In 2017, he had appeared in the fourth series of the BBC historical drama Peaky Blinders.
