Tourists increasing in Suklaphanta National Park

Kanchanpur: Domestic, as well as foreign tourists, are increasingly visiting Suklaphanta National Park. In the current fiscal year, as many as 675 tourists have visited Sukplaphanta National Park which includes both domestic, SAARC and foreign tourists.
According to the information officer of the national park, Uttam Chaudhary, the increased number of visitors in the park is due to publicity about improved infrastructure and facilities.
“Tourists usually love to see lush greenery, marshy land, lakes, spotted tiger, one-horned rhino, elephants, leopard, panther, wild boar and various species of rare birds and endangered wild animals,” added Chaudhary.
He also said that the tourists after visiting this park are fascinated to revisit it. On average at least seven to ten tourists come to visit this national park. The park is well known for its diversity in flora and fauna and Rana Tharu cultural heritage.
