Home Minister inaugurates Jhamsikhel Street carnival  

Kathmandu: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa inaugurated the 4rth Jhamsikhel street carnival 2019 in Lalitpur on Saturday.

The popular street carnival featured lok dohari, rock concert, Nepali folk music and standup comedy shows during which over 50 stalls of food, textiles, face painting, handicrafts, and carnival games were showcased and as many as 60,000 people.

Addressing the mammoth gathering of carnival, Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa said such carnival would bolster in spreading the message about upcoming Visit Nepal 2020 and help in bringing 2 million tourists. Jhamsikhel Youth Club organized the street festival to promote Visit Nepal Year 2020.
