Mt. Everest Fashion show in the offing to draw world attention
Kathmandu: KASA Nepal is preparing to host a fashion show at the world’s highest-altitude- Kalapathar- to draw the world’s attention towards the tourism sector in Nepal.
According to KASA Nepal, the great event of fashion at such a high altitude will be held on 24 January 2020 with the theme “Mt. Everest Fashion Runway” at the Sagarmatha Base Camp to promote Nepal’s Visit Year 2020.
This was disclosed in a press meet held by organizer KASA in Kathmandu Saturday. “This is the first time that a fashion show is being hosted at such a high altitude.
The event is the outcome of an investigation into the importance of nature and diversity of biodiversity,” said Fashion designer Ramila Nemkule in the press meet.
Nepali clothes made of fibers and ornaments made of stones will be on display in this fashion show which is based on an investigation carried out by fashion designer Ramila Nembkule.
KASA as an organizer of this event is supported by several other international foundations such as the Living stone foundation international and IIT.
The world-famous 15 international models including 5 Nepali models will be participating in the “Fashion Runway.”Miss Universal Nepal 2018 Manita Deukota will be leading the national and international models on the occasion the models of countries such as Finland, Poland, Italy, Netherland, Nigeria, Srilanka, and India will participate in it.
Nepal Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu will take care of the health-related issues of the models. Similarly, the trekking up to the base camp will be guided and led by Dawa Stevan Sherpa. Sherpa is the most famous trekking guide for Asia.
The month of January will be the best time to observe the natural beauty in its highest form. This event is likely to be a lifetime event for many. Eight episodes of this event will be publicized in America, Canada, and the Caribbean via Visit Nepal Year 2020.
