Nepal Visit Year 2020 will be special celebration, says Minister Baskota

Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has said that the Visit Nepal Year 2020 will be a special celebration and the years to follow will continue as Tourism Year.

Addressing the concluding session of a half marathon organized on the eve of VNY 2020 in Namobuddha municipality-4 on Saturday, he said that Nepal’s tourism will continue until the earth lives.

He also shared that a Buddha circuit was being developed via Nala-Dhulikhel-Namobuddha-Kottimal-Tangsomkunda. Stating that the present government has made accomplishments in two years that was more than the previous 22 years, Minister Banskota said the final two years of the government will be the year of inaugurations.

In the competition, Shiva Bahadur Rayamajhi, Himal Karki and Kas Rai came first second and third respectively. They won Rs. 50,000, 30,000 and 20,000 respectively. A total of 27 persons had competed in the 21 kilometers race (RSS).
