Spanish and German climbers to attempt Mt. Everest in winter
Kathmandu: A two-member German team climbers have reached the Mt. Everest base camp to attempt Mt. Everest in this winter while a three-member team led by record-holder Spaniard Alex Txikon is arriving in Nepal on 10 January 2020 to embark upon Mt. Everest expedition this winter according to the expedition organizers.
Two German climbers who reached the Everest base camp are Jost Kobusch (27) and Hug Daniel (34), who are planning to climb Mt. Everest through the west ridge in this wintertime.
Managing Director of Satori Adventures Mr. Rishi Bhandari-the organizer of the Everest expedition for the German climbers said the German climbers will climb the highest mountain peak without supplemental oxygen. Ngima Dorjee Sherpa and Anup Rai will be assisting the climbers the base camp added Bhandari.
Similarly, Managing Director of Outware Treks and Expedition, Pemba Sherpa said that the Spanish team of climbers lead by Alex Txikon, Jonathan Cracia Villa and Cardo Briones will be attempting Mt. Everest without supplemental oxygen in the winter season.
Pechhumbe Sherpa and Chhiji Nurbu Sherpa would be accompanying the Spanish climbers on Mt. Everest. The Everest expedition would begin on December 28, 2019.
