Kalinchowk trek is a short trip that is blessed with a hundred eighty degrees’ sight of snow-capped mountains dominating the Nepal-China border.
The Kalinchowk trekking trail is popular among the trekkers due to Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple where thousands of people throng every year. Also, the trail’s inspiring panoramic mountain views of Langtang, beautiful biodiversity makes this trail more enchanting for the visitors.
The trail blessed with a hilly forest of hemlock trees and rhododendron sometimes gives an opportunity to get a glance of a clouded leopard. You can trek in this region throughout the year.
To reach Kalinchow just take a private vehicle from Kathmandu up to Kuri village. Then, trek to Kalinchowk hill. It may take at least one day to reach the Kuri village.
Alternatively, take a bus from Kathmandu to Charikot and then take a vehicle from Charikot to Kuri village. The cable car can also be used to reach on the top of the Kalinchowk hill. However, just take care of unpredictable weather conditions.
