The rafting in this river that starts from the Namche bazaar can be used for kayaking to Gopeghat with a river raging rapids ranging in between IV and V grade until you reach Sun Koshi river.

The river rafting can be done within five days (even more or fewer days) which depends upon your plans as well. To reach the starting point of this rafting, just take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport and trek up to the Namche bazaar.

The best time for river rafting in this milky river would be during October –December, and Feb-April. The cost may range around 450 USD per person.
