Korea Nepal 2020 Painting Exhibition kicks off
Korean and Nepali artists pose for photograph
Kathmandu: An eight days long Korea Nepal 2020 Painting Exhibition has kicked off in Kathmandu to showcase the artistic masterpieces of four Korean and five Nepali artists.
Nepal Korea Culture Center is organizing the joint painting exhibition from January 8-15 on the occasion of the Nepal Visit 2020 campaign.

Korean artists include Rim, Young-taek-famous Ballpoint pen artist, Doo Siyoung -chairman of the Korean People’s Artists Association, Park, Heung-soon-ex-chairman of The Korean People’s Artists Association, and Doo Hye Jeong, while Nepali artists include Dhanu Yakha, BK Nar Bahadur, Lal Kaji Lama, Pramila Pariyar BK and Jenney Ghale.
President of Nepal Korea Culture Center, Pragati Rai said that this joint exhibition of painting will promote the friendship of Nepal and Korea.

Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts Mr. Gopal Chitrakar on the occasion said that such events should be sustained to act as a bridge of cooperation between the two countries.
Korean poet Kim Hyong Hyo also known as Sagarmatha Gurung said that this painting exhibition will further promote relations between Korean and Nepali artists and promote Visit Nepal 2020 too. “I come to Nepal sometimes as a tourist, sometimes as a trekker, sometimes as a literary person and this time as an artist. I come to Nepal because Nepal is my father-in-law’s home.”
