Bullfight in Nepal becoming popular
Kathmandu: Bullfighting festivals are organized in various parts of Nuwakot, a northern district of Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti.
Bullfight festival was held at Ghalegaun in Panchakanya Rural Municipality this year, an almost three-hours ride from Kathmandu city.
Five pairs of bulls (oxen) were used in the bullfight organized by Panchakanya Nava Pratibha Youth Group.
The locals take the bullfight festival as an opportunity and an occasion to attract the tourists.
