Coronavirus affected planes to be parked separately
Kathmandu: Nepal government has called upon concerned stakeholders to park the coronavirus affected planes separately at the airport to avoid its adverse effects in the tourism sector.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai during a formal discussion and consultation with tourism sector stakeholders recently stressed that high alert should be maintained to ward off the effect of Coronavirus in the country.
Minister Bhattarai also said that tourists arriving in Nepal from China should be put on high alert. He also said that the Coronavirus affected planes will be parked separately at the airport as per the norms of the World Health Organization.
Bhattarai also asked all officials of the Tourism Department and Nepal Tourism Board to take all precautionary measures and take necessary steps in close coordination if any symptoms are observed in the tourists arriving in Nepal.
