Six ambassadors to stroll in Chitwan National Park

Kathmandu: Preparations are being made in full swing to enable ambassadors of various countries residing in Nepal to stroll in the Chitwan National Park to mark the Visit Nepal Year 2020.
Ambassadors of six countries, representatives of the European Union, Chief of World Bank and other special dignitaries are arriving in Chitwan today to take the chance of strolling in Chitwan National Park.
The provincial government of Bagmati and its province-level tourism promotion committee is organizing the event to take ambassadors and special officers to the park.
According to the Bagmati state tourism promotion committee coordinator Anil Lama, the plan has been chalked out to enable ambassadors of Srilanka, Malaysia, Australia, India, Russia, and the UK to stroll in the Chitwan Park.

Lama further said that during the planned event, the guests will be engaged in Jungle safari in the park besides witnessing elephant’s football and polo at the Sauraha area and dinner with cultural shows in the night time.
Mayor of Ratna Nagar Municipality Narayan Von said that the program is being managed with the coordination and support of Sauraha situated Community forest, Hotels and Restaurants.
Although the program targetted to participate in at least 21 countries’ envoys, yet it could not be done due to some technical problems. Princess of Belgium had recently visited the Chitwan National Park. It is expected that this event will further publicize the Nepal Visit Year 2020 in foreign countries.
