Dumba lake of Mustang’s Gharpjhong Rural Municipality -5 is becoming popular these days where tourists are thronging these days to enjoy the sight of this lake.

Dumba lake has become an attractive hub for those pilgrims who come to visit Muktinath temple. The lake is at least 5 km away from Mustang’s district headquarter Jomsom. The lake water has frozen and tourists are excited to see this frozen lake water these days. Both domestic and external tourists enjoy taking a sojourn here and taking snaps in the middle of the pond.

The number of tourists to see this lake is increasing said, Niraj Thakali a member of Gandaki province visit year. Even the Nepali film industry has started using the scenes of this pond in the films.

The lake is elevated at around 3000 meters above sea level. The length of this lake is 150 meters and the width is 100 meters. The snowy region around it and the apple garden that surrounds this lake, all the more adds to its natural beauty.
