Kathmandu: Nepal government is mulling over finalizing a quarantine location for the Nepalese who are desperately waiting to return home from Hubei province of China where deadly Coronavirus has broken out.
Mahendra Shrestha, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population said, ” We are still discussing these issues. We will evacuate them soon and finalize the location to quarantine them by tomorrow evening,”
Probably the quarantine locations are speculated to be located at Nepal Electricity Authority Training Centre in Bhaktapur, Agricultural Development Bank Central Training Institute in Bode, Bhaktapur, Nepal Administrative Staff College in Jawalakhel or National Ayurveda Research and Training Centre in Kirtipur.
The Nepalese returning from China will be put under a quarantine system and observed for at least two weeks before they could be sent back to their homes.
As many as 180 Nepalese who have already filed up the application forms at the Nepali embassy are to return to Nepal from the Hubei province of China within a few days. Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft will be used to evacuate the Nepalese from China.
