Weather remains fair from Friday
Kathmandu: Weather affected by the influence of westerly low-pressure wind for the past few days is being improved from Friday according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Meteorologist Manju Basi said the weather will remain fair as the westerly low-pressure system is no more active in the country from last evening.
There is no possibility of rainfall across the nation today and tomorrow,” added Basi. Although the weather of the Kathmandu Valley was cloudy this morning, it has now become clear and the day would be sunny, it is learned.
The skies of the central and western parts would remain partly to generally cloudy during the night while other parts would be clear. The Division forecasted that the weather across the country would be clear on Friday and hilly areas of the country would see partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon.
Meteorologist Basi shared that there is the possibility of rainfall along with thunderstorms at some parts of the western hilly areas while the weather of central and eastern hilly areas would remain partly to generally cloudy on Saturday as a new weather system would be developed from Saturday.
As per the latest details of the Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded 8.8 degrees Celsius and 14.1 degrees Celsius was the maximum temperature (RSS).
