Passengers urged not to fly with cold & fever

Kathmandu: The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has urged all passengers not to fly if they are suffering from cold and fever to contain epidemic Coronavirus.

The AOAN president Rameshwar Thapa in a press statement said that any flights carrying patients showing the symptoms of coronavirus on board should be canceled.

It may also be recalled that on Monday only the supreme court had issued an order to the government to suspend international flights to coronavirus affected countries in the wake of alarming fear and spread of Coronavirus.

Following the Supreme court’s order and government’s immediate initiatives against Coronavirus (COVID-19), the government is reportedly preparing to suspend flights to countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Iran, and Italy from March 10.
