Tourism entrepreneurs demand  50% reduction in tax

Kathmandu: Tourism entrepreneurs have demanded a 50% reduction in the tax and house rent from the government by submitting a six-point memorandum to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nepal Tourism Board Dr. Dhananjay Regmi saying that the declining number of tourists in tourism industry is ruining the industry due to increasing threat of Coronavirus.

A conglomeration of nine tourism-related organizations including Trekking  Agencies’ Associaton of Nepal (TAAN), Hotel Association Nepal (HAN), Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATA), Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA) representatives collectively met with NTB chief and submitted their memorandum.
