300 vehicles seized for breaching lockdown orders
Kathmandu: Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) seized 300 vehicles from different areas of Kathmandu Valley on Wednesday for breaching the lockdown orders imposed by the government to prevent the rapid spread of COVID-19.
MTPD Spokesperson SP Jeewan Kumar Shrestha informed that the vehicles plying on the roads against the lockdown were seized.
The people who had come out from home were sent back to their residence after briefing them about the lockdown order as coronavirus preventive measures, he said.
As many as 1,000 vehicles were taken under control from various parts of the country on Tuesday for breaching the lockdown orders (RSS).
