SAARC solidairty expressed to fight against COVID-19
Kathmandu: The health professionals aligned with SAARC member nations in a video conference held on Thursday have collectively expressed their solidarity to jointly fight against COVID-19 in South Asia in close collaboration and cooperation.
The media reports trickling in on Friday said that all the SAARC member nations have consented to create a common domain saarc-COIN.org by April 13, 2020, to exchange their experience and information on COVID-19.
The global death toll has reached above 24,000 while infection spread in more than 200 countries due to new lethal pathogens. South Asia has seen deaths above 26 due to Coronavirus with its lethal grip in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh while Nepal has no reports of any fatalities so far.
