Nationwide lockdown extended until April 7
Kathmandu: The nationwide weekly lockdown period imposed to contain COVID-19 which is about to expire on the upcoming Tuesday is extended for another week until April 5 according to government sources.
A high-level meeting of coordination committee on the prevention and containment of COVID-19 on Sunday recommended to the Nepal government to further extend the lockdown period for another week until April 5 to battle against the global Coronavirus pandemic.
A cabinet meeting held on Sunday endorsed the decision to lock down the nation for another week, sources said.
