Govt decides to bring laxity in lockdwon for food industries

Kathmandu: The government’s high-level meeting held in Kathmandu on Thursday has decided to bring about laxity in the total lockdown in the country by paving the way for food industries to run on certain conditions.

The government sources said these industries have been allowed to operate the industries on condition that they mobilize their residential workers by complying with the safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The government’s decision also paves the way for the operation of big projects such as Melamchi and Tamakoshi the sources said.
