3 more COVID-19 postive cases found in Nepal

Kathmandu: Three more Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Nepal according to the information posted on the Facebook of the Ministry of Health and Population on Saturday.

These COVID-19 infected include a 21 years old male from Kailali who returned from Mumbai of India and another 41 years old male from Kanchanpur, who returned from the Indian state of Uttrakhand, while a 34 years old female, a resident of Kailai has tested positive for Coronavirus. The female is a close relative of the virus-infected person undergoing treatment in Dhangadi.

This is the first case of locally transmitted Coronavirus in Nepal. With this, the total number of Coronavirus positives cases has surged to 9 of which one person has already returned home after recovery.

All three infected persons have been isolated in the local hospital located in Dhangadi for further medical treatment.
