Titan aircraft flown to London with 536 passengers
Kathmandu: A special chartered British Titan aircraft has flown towards London from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Wednesday with 536 Germans and British nationals on board.
The airport officials said the British aircraft will make a transit in Qatar airport to fill the fuel and then fly towards London.
On Wednesday alone Qatar airways chartered by Germany has flown with 282 passengers on board from Nepal. Various foreign countries are evacuating their citizens from Nepal via chartered planes after Nepal clamped three weeks nationwide lockdown to battle against the global Coronavirus epidemic.
Meanwhile, Canada is to evacuate its citizens from Nepal on April 11 via chartered aircraft.
