People urged to refrain from morning & evening walks

Kathmandu: Mahalakshmi Municipality has urged its town people not to come out of their homes under the pretense of morning and evening walks.

The municipality urged the town people not to go out for their daily morning walk and evening walk as the Coronavirus is spreading in the town.

The town mayor Ramsheswar Shrestha said, “despite repeated information being delivered to the people about refraining from morning and evening walks in the wake of global COVID-19 pandemic, there has been negligence from the people. So, there was dire need to prohibit the casual movement of strangers in the locality and lanes in the town”.
