Second patient of COVID-19, returns home after recovery

Kathmandu: The second patient of COVID-19 in Nepal- a 19 years old female-returned home after her recovery from the deadly virus infection on Saturday.

According to the Director-Dr. Sagar Raj Bhandari of Teku based Surkraraj Tropical and Communicable Disease Hospital, she is going home after totally recovering from the epidemic.

She  had tested negative for Coronavirus two times after being admitted in the hospital for treatment for Coronavirus infection. Earlier she had tested positive for the virus after she returned from France. She returned home after being hospitalized in the hospital for 27 days.
The first patient of COVID-19, who had tested positive for the virus after returning from Wuhan of China had also returned home after being hospitalized at this hospital upon his recovery from this virus.

Now, there are only two male patients suffering from the Coronavirus, who are undergoing treatment at this hospital. The total cases of Coronavirus in Nepal is recorded at 30. With this recovery of two persons from the COVID-19, Nepal has 28 active cases of Coronavirus in all.
