18 Maldivians flown to Dhaka by Nepal Airlines
Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines has flown to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh with 18 Maldivians stranded in Nepal on Sunday.
The wide-body A320 airplane flew to Dhaka from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), according to the TIA Managing Director Devendra KC.
The Maldivian government chartered the flight to rescue its citizen stranded in Nepal following the lockdown to contain the COVID-19.
The Maldivians will board another flight from Dhaka to fly home. The wide-body aircraft will return to Kathmandu today itself. (RSS).
