Fourth COVID-19 patient returns home after recovery
Kathmandu: The fourth patient of COVID-19 who was placed in isolation at Seti provincial hospital in Dhangadi 16 days ago has been discharged from the hospital on Sunday after his complete recovery.
The youth (21), a resident of Lamki-Chuha Municipality-1 had tested positive for Coronavirus after he returned from Indian city of Mumbai recently.
The Seti hospital sources said, the youth was discharged after his swab samples tested negative two times during his isolation period at the hospital.
While returning home from the hospital, the youth said,” Don’t get discouraged by the Coronavirus infection. I knew from the beginning that I will get well from this disease.”
The Minister for Social Development for Far Western province Krishna Raj Subedi and the Hospital Administration Department chief Durga Joshi were present on the occasion of the youth’s discharge from the hospital today.
Nepal has detected 31 confirmed cases of COVID-19 of which 4 persons have recovered from this epidemic. Now only 27 active cases are there in Nepal.
