Russian Being 757 flown to Moscow with 110 citizens

Kathmandu: The Royal Flight Boeing 757 of Russian airlines has flown to Moscow from Tribhuvan International Airport with 110 citizens on Monday afternoon.

These Russian citizens were stranded in Nepal due to lock-down imposed by the government to contain Coronavirus, the government sources said.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Nepal had requested Nepal government to evacuate its stranded citizens via chartered aircraft.

The Russian Royal Flight had arrived in Kathmandu this morning to evacuate the Russian citizens.

Over 4,000 foreign tourists including Europeans and Americans who were stranded in Nepal due to lock-down after global Coronavirus pandemic have been evacuated and flown to their respective countries  as of this day.
