Torrential rain, storm, thunder & lightning predicted for the next three days

Kathmandu: Incessant rainfall is occurring in the Kathmand valley and throughout the country due to effects of local and westerly winds according to Weather Forecasting Department on Tuesday.

The weather forecasting department through a bulletin cautioned the public to be alert against the changing weather conditions due to westerly wind.

There may be torrential rain, storm, hails tone rain followed by thunder and lightning due to cloudy atmosphere during the day time on Tuesday, said the bulletin.

The department also predicted the heavy rain, storm, thunder and lightning on Tuesday night. Similar weather condition is likely to prevail in three days from Tuesday to Thursday.
