Extension of lock-down for another week recommended
Kathmandu: The high-level government committee related to control of COVID-19 has recommended the government to extend the lock-down for another week to curb the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Government sources said the high-level committee held on Saturday discussed various modalities of the lockdown and recommended for one more week lockdown in the country. The committee has said the new modality could be considered after the next lockdown.
The high-level committee concluded that lock down has been effective to control the Coronavirus. Nepal has reported 49 cases of Coronavirus while 12 patients have been cured and now 37 cases are active.
